Faculty Representative definition

Faculty Representative. The term "Faculty Representative," as used in this Agreement, means the Association Faculty Representative.

Faculty Representative means a Director elected to represent a specific Faculty, in accordance with these By-Laws;

Faculty Representative means a person who is a Director pursuant to Article 9 clause 6;

• Faculty Representative: At the pleasure of the board, the chair of the Faculty Senate shall serve as the faculty, ex officio, nonvoting representative on the board.

• He/she shall conduct yearly Faculty Representative elections in the buildings in which he/she serves, as per Article VII, Section 1 of these By-Laws.

• Serve as the Faculty Representative to the Big Ten Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

• A Faculty Representative who ceases to meet the eligibility requirements for elected membership on Faculty Council or who ceases to be an associate professor or professor shall cease to be the Faculty Representative.

• The Faculty Representative shall serve a one (1) year term beginning in July and shall relinquish representation of a department or college (if serving in that capacity) to become a representative and member of the Faculty Council.

Faculty Representative. The term “Faculty Representative,” as used in this Agreement, means the Association Representative.

Faculty Representative means the Association’s faculty representative or her/his teacher designee. However, s/he shall be part of the Association as defined in Article 1, Section 1- 1.0.
