Exempt Waste definition

Exempt Waste means oil field waste exempted from regulation as hazardous waste pursuant to Subtitle C of RCRA and applicable regulations.
Exempt Waste means materials that are exempt from the Contractor's exclusive franchise under this Agreement.
Exempt Waste means Biohazardous or Biomedical Waste, Hazardous 296 Waste, sludge, automobiles, automobile parts, boats, boat parts, boat trailers, internal combustion 297 engines, lead-acid batteries, dead animals, and those wastes under the control of the Nuclear Regulatory 298 Commission.

More Definitions of Exempt Waste

Exempt Waste means Bio- Hazardous or Bio-Medical Waste, Hazardous Waste, Sludge, automobiles, automobile parts, boats, parts, boat trailers, internal combustion engines, lead-acid batteries, used oil and tires, those wastes under the control of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and those other materials whose size, weight, or both are in excess of that allowed for Bulk Waste as defined herein.
Exempt Waste means, singularly or in combination, Infectious Waste, Biomedical or Biological Waste, Commercially-generated Waste, tires, Construction and Demolition Debris, land clearing debris, Hazardous Waste, Sludge, automobiles, automobile parts , boats, boat parts, boat trailers, internal combustion engines, lead-acid batteries, used oil, Yard Trash that exceeds the dimensions described in the Scope of Services, and residential or commercial solid waste for which there is no legally permitted disposal, processing, transfer or storage facility within Alachua County.
Exempt Waste means Hazardous Substances, Hazardous Waste, Biohazardous or Biomedical Waste, volatile, corrosive, biomedical, infectious, and toxic substances or material, waste that CONTRACTOR reasonably believes would, as a result of or upon Disposal, be a violation of local, State or Federal law, regulation or ordinance, including land use restrictions or conditions, waste that cannot be Disposed of in Class III landfills, waste that in CONTRACTOR’S reasonable opinion would present a significant risk to human health or the environment, cause a nuisance or otherwise create or expose CONTRACTOR or CITY to potential liability; but not including de minimis volumes or concentrations of waste of a type and amount normally found in Residential Solid Waste after implementation of programs for the safe Collection, Recycling, treatment, and Disposal of Solid Waste in compliance with Sections 41500 and 41802 of the California Public Resources Code.
Exempt Waste means Hazardous Substances, Hazardous Waste, Biohazardous or Biomedical Waste, volatile, corrosive, biomedical, infectious, and toxic substances or material, waste that the CONTRACTOR reasonably believes would, as a result of or upon Disposal or receipt at the applicable facility, be a violation of local, state and federal laws and regulations adopted pursuant thereto, including, without limitation, ordinances and land use restrictions or conditions.
Exempt Waste means biohazardous or biomedical waste, hazardous waste, household hazardous waste, sludge, soil and dirt, concrete, asphalt, automobiles, automobile parts, boats, boat parts, boat trailers, internal combustion engines, lead-acid batteries, and those wastes under the control of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Exempt waste does not include used oil, used oil filters, construction and demolition debris, organic waste, or household batteries when placed for collection as set forth in the franchise agreement or as otherwise directed by the Director.
Exempt Waste means those radioactive materials that can be removed from the regulatory control due to its activity concentration and or total activity, after a limited storage period for decaying;
Exempt Waste means sludge, stable matter, used oil or used oil filters, automobiles, automobile parts except those which fall within the definition of Recyclable Material, boats, boat parts, boat trailers, internal combustion engines, waste under the control of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, biohazardous or biomedical waste that may cause disease or reasonably be suspected of harboring pathogenic organisms including human and animal parts, contaminated bandages, pathological specimens, hypodermic needles, sharps, contaminated clothing and surgical gloves from the operation of medical clinics, hospitals, and other facilities that process this waste; Hazardous Substances; Hazardous Waste as identified in the California Health and Safety Code sections 25115 and 25117 and in California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 23, as may be amended; and electronic waste (E- Waste) such as discarded electronics equipment containing cathode ray tubes (CRTs) computers monitors, televisions, stereo equipment, peripherals, and other electronic equipment, and other Waste that a County Facility is not allowed to receive pursuant to its permits and/or approvals.
