Excluded Field definition

Excluded Field means genetic analysis using or based upon, in whole or in part, the genotyping of more than one hundred thousand (100,000) putative single nucleotide polymorphisms, such polymorphisms found in three (3) or more chromosomes of the relevant organism.

  • For clarity, in no event will any of the Commercialization activities under this Agreement be conducted in the Excluded Field.


More Definitions of Excluded Field

Excluded Field means any products or services to the extent delivered by or through a pharmacy claim processing network.
Excluded Field means (i) pharmaceutical products for the treatment of diabetes based on the SenseCore Technology, (ii) use with dopaminergic therapy based on the SenseCore Technology, (iii) oncology drugs and biosimilars thereof based on the SenseCore Technology, (iv) to the extent exclusivity has been granted to a Third Party under an existing agreement with Sensile as of the Effective Date of the Omnibus Amendment, diabetes, neurology, pain management, general infusion, enteral nutrition, dopaminergic therapy, oncology and neonatology, and (v) to the extent exclusivity may be granted to a Third Party by Sensile in the future, products outside the Exclusive Areas.
Excluded Field has the meaning set forth in Section 3.3(a).
Excluded Field means (a) the research, development, manufacture and selling to third parties of human and non-human animal cells for commercial research use, including small molecule and other drug testing and basic research and (b) the manufacture and selling of human cells for therapeutic and diagnostic use in the treatment of human (i) diabetes, (ii) liver diseases and (iii) retinal diseases and retinal degenerative diseases; but EXCLUDED FIELD shall exclude applications involving the use of cells in the treatment of tumors where the primary use of the cells is the destruction or reduction of tumors and does not involve regeneration of tissue or organ function.
