Excess Components definition

Excess Components means any Third Party Component for which IAC has taken delivery and incurred a payment obligation that (i) is (a) a Unique Component, (b) an Obsolete Component, or (c) were to be consumed for Products that were rescheduled or cancelled in accordance with Exhibit C, and (ii) has not subsequently been consumed for Products within [*] after IAC takes physical delivery of the Component.
Excess Components means a Unique and Special Component on hand at Vendor’s site that is in excess of the amount needed for the current Forecast; provided, however, that such Component was purchased by Vendor in order to meet a previous Forecast. A Component shall not be an “Excess Component” if it was purchased outside of the Component Lead Time necessary to meet the Forecast in effect at the time of purchase.
Excess Components means the Components that SANMINA has on hand, which have been ordered, manufactured, or acquired based on CUSTOMER’s then-current Orders, including surplus quantities of Components resulting from minimum order quantities, tape and reel quantities and packaging quantities required by the vendor, but for which CUSTOMER has no demand in the ninety (90) day period following the end of each calendar quarter.

Examples of Excess Components in a sentence

  • Within five (5) business days after receiving Insulet’s first Forecast or Purchase Order of the first month following the end of each calendar quarter (but no later than the fifteenth business day following the end of each of Supplier’s calendar quarters), Supplier shall advise Insulet in writing of any Excess Components and their Delivered Cost (the “Excess List”).

  • The Obsolete List shall include all former Excess Components which have been deemed Obsolete Components.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Supplier’s failure to timely provide the Excess List to Insulet shall not affect Insulet’s obligations for Excess Components hereunder but the Insulet response period shall not commence until after receipt of the Supplier Excess List.

  • Excess Components shall be kept in the Component Offset Inventory Reserve Account, for a maximum period of six (6) months at which time such Excess Components will be deemed to be Obsolete Components.


More Definitions of Excess Components

Excess Components means those Components in inventory or on-order that are projected to be consumed by Customer Demand, but not within the next [***] ([***]) calendar days.
Excess Components means a Component that has been in inventory at Synnex for over six (6) months provided that such Component (a) could not previously be utilized in the manufacture of a Product during such six (6) month period and (b) was not purchased by Synnex outside of the Total Lead Time necessary to meet the Forecasts and Buffer Stock requirements.
Excess Components means components on hand or on-order at EI that exceed the quantity required to meet open “Orders”
Excess Components means Components that (a) were purchased solely to fulfill a Requisition and are remaining on the last day covered by the Requisition and (b) are not scheduled to be used in the immediately following Requisition.
Excess Components means (a) the Components that SANMINA has on hand, which have been ordered, manufactured, or acquired (in accordance with the requirements of this Section 4) based on CUSTOMER’s then-current Forecast as noted in section 4 and Exhibit B, long lead time components, items purchased as safety stock, parts purchased under MOQ’s and NCNR or Orders, but for which CUSTOMER has no demand in the [**] day period following the end of each [**], and/or (b) inventory that is in excess of the quantity required to maintain the agreed to inventory turns per Exhibit A.
Excess Components has the meaning set forth in Section 2.3.13.
