Excavation Permit definition

Excavation Permit means the permit which, pursuant to this ordinance, must be obtained before a person may excavate in a right-of-way. An Excavation permit allows the holder to excavate that part of the right-of-way described in such permit.

Excavation Permit means any excavation permit issued by the Authority in respect of the work required to Provide the Works or any part thereof under the Ordinance, including any extension and amendment of the excavation permit.

Excavation Permit means a permit authorizing Excavation for the construction or installation of Facilities in the City's Rights-of-Way.

Examples of Excavation Permit in a sentence

• The Applicant shall obtain a Street Excavation Permit for the sidewalk work, which is available from the City Engineering Division.

• The Applicant shall obtain a Street Excavation Permit for the street restoration work, which is available from the City Engineering Division.

• No Excavation Permit shall be issued without a Telecommunications Investigation by the City of Santa Monica Information Systems Department.

• Where STLA is not applicable and such excavation is not within the category of exemption under Section 10B of the Land (Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance, the Contractor shall apply to the Lands Department for an Excavation Permit and shall be the Permittee.

More Definitions of Excavation Permit

Excavation Permit means a permit granted by The City pursuant to Street Bylaw 20M88, which authorizes the utility provider (in accordance with the terms andconditions of the excavation permit) to break the surface of a service corridor to perform work;
