The Charter School shall address the needs of EL students pursuant to applicable federal and state laws and regulations (including Title III of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI)).
Each year, the Authorizer shall provide to the Charter School the school’s proportionate share of applicable federal ESSA funding (e.g. Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, or Title V) and other federal grants received by the Authorizer for which the Charter School is eligible.
OPD supports include guidance in completing ESSA required plans via MICIP.
To the extent applicable to community schools, the Community School will be subject to the federal rules and regulations for publicly funded schools as outlined in the ESSA and its associated regulations.
