ESMS definition

ESMS means an environmental and social management system for the Project, including any update thereto, prepared and submitted by each PFI and cleared by ADB;
ESMS means the Environmental and Social Management System and includes the Project ESMS and the PFI ESMS. “ESMSs” means the plural thereof.
ESMS means the part of the overall management system of the Borrower that includes the relevant policies, organizational structure, planning activities, responsibilities, practices, procedures and resources for developing, implementing, achieving, reviewing and maintaining compliance with the Environmental and Social Requirements and which is dedicated to the structural improvement of the environmental and social performance of the Borrower, satisfactory to FMO.

ESMS means the environmental and social management system which shall include plans and programmes to manage and monitor the environmental and social components of Works, the Enhancement Works (if applicable), the Handback Works, any other works to be developed by the Concessionaire and the Airport Services throughout the Concession Period, including the items set out in Clause 21.1.
