ESCO definition

ESCO has the meaning set forth in the UBP approved by the Commission and as it may be amended from time to time, which is “An entity eligible to sell electricity and/or natural gas to end-use customers using the transmission or distribution system of a utility. ESCOs may perform other retail service functions.”
ESCO means any Subsidiary of the Borrower that provides natural gas and/or electricity to end users thereof through a utility provider and participates in one or more Consolidated Billing Program(s) in the ordinary course of such Subsidiary’s business.
ESCO means energy service company as set forth under applicable rules and regulations set forth by the PSC and NYISO (each as defined herein).

Examples of ESCO in a sentence

  • If you terminate this Agreement, you will be returned to the LDU for supply service unless you choose another ESCO.

  • If Starion terminates this Agreement early, you will be returned to your LDU’s service unless you choose another ESCO.

More Definitions of ESCO

ESCO shall have the meaning set forth in the Recitals.
ESCO means any eligible competitive energy services company operating in New York State pursuant to the Uniform Business Practices approved by the PSC.
