Erection means the placement, installation, and construction of a sign.
Erection means putting up of structures and / or installation of Plant and Equipment and accessories and other materials by and under the contractual scope of the Contractor by and under supervision of the Contractor and will include any service which the Contractor is required to provide at the site with his own and/or other staff and/or labour for the due fulfillment of Contract.
Erection means building, construction, alteration, reconstruction, movement upon or any physical operations on the premises which are required for construction. Excavation, fill, drainage and any other work requiring mechanical or hand tools or implements shall be considered a part of erection.

Erection and/or “Installation” shall mean all the on Site erection and installation activities, as applicable, including fabrication, assembly, construction, alignment, leveling, installation, interfacing, piping, welding, preheating, annealing, insulating, lagging, painting, grouting, fastening and anchoring, clearing, checking, oil filling and treating, adjusting, quality testing, and all other activities and procedures not specified in detail in this Annexure or in the Specification (Annexure “B”), which are necessary for the proper installation of the Equipment Package to allow its Commissioning and effective operation.
Erection means the putting up under the particular contract of structures and / or installation of equipment with all accessories supplied, and will include any service which the Contractor is required to perform for the due fulfillment of his contract at the building site with his own and / or other staff or labour made available to him and with the aid of his own and / or other staff, labour and equipment auxiliary materials placed at his disposal.
Erection means the same as “erect” for the purposes of this By-law.
