Equity Affiliate definition

Equity Affiliate means any Person in which the Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries holds an equity investment that is accounted for under the equity method.
Equity Affiliate means, with respect to any Person, any corporation, partnership, limited liability company or other business entity of which an aggregate of less than 50% of the Voting Interests is, at the time, directly or indirectly, owned or controlled by such Person or one or more Subsidiaries or Equity Affiliates of such Person and which such Person accounts for in its consolidated financial statements on an equity basis pursuant to GAAP.
Equity Affiliate means, as applied to any Person, any other ---------------- Person directly or indirectly controlling, controlled by, or under direct or indirect common control with, such Person. For purposes of this definition, "control" (including, with correlative meanings, the terms "controlling", "controlled by" and "under common control with"), as applied to any Person, means the possession, directly or indirectly, of the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of such Person, whether through the ownership of voting securities, by contract or otherwise.
