The amount of the total liabilities of the Group is also expected to increase due to the funding requirements of the consideration of the EPC Contracts.
Given the nature of the EPC Contracts, the Group does not expect the EPC Contracts to have immediate material impact on the earnings of the Group.
The facilities under the EPC Contracts would be recorded as property, plant and equipment under non-current assets of the Group and hence the amount of the total assets of the Group is expected to increase following the completion of the works, after such increase is partially offset by the decrease in cash and cash equivalents.
To the best of the knowledge, information and belief of the Directors, having made all reasonable enquiries, no Shareholder has any material interest in the EPC Contracts and the transactions contemplated thereunder as well as the Equity Transfer Agreements and the Disposals contemplated thereunder as at the Latest Practicable Date.
The consideration payable under the EPC Contracts will be settled in cash by way of utilising the Group’s internal resources and external financing.
