EPA reference method definition

EPA reference method means the following methods used for performance tests and continuous monitoring systems:

Examples of EPA reference method in a sentence

  • Compliance with the opacity limitation listed in Section IX.C shall be determined using EPA reference method 9 testing by a qualified observer.

  • Compliance with the opacity limitations listed in Section X.C shall be determined using EPA reference method 9 observations by a qualified observer or a certified continuous opacity monitor system (COMS).

  • Compliance with the opacity limitation listed in Section XI.C shall be determined using EPA reference method 9 observations by a qualified observer or a certified COMS.
