Environmental Site Assessment definition

Environmental Site Assessment means a Phase I environmental report meeting the requirements of the American Society for Testing and Materials, and, if in accordance with customary industry standards a reasonable lender would require it, a Phase II environmental report, each prepared by a licensed third party professional experienced in environmental matters.
Environmental Site Assessment means an investigation in relation to land to determine the environmental condition of the land, and includes a phase one environmental site assessment or phase two environmental site assessment, both within the meaning of Part XV.1 of the Environmental Protection Act; (“évaluation environnementale de site”)
Environmental Site Assessment. Means, in respect of any Mortgaged Property, a “Phase I assessment” or “Phase II assessment” conducted in accordance with ASTM Standard E 1527-97 or any successor thereto published by the American Society for Testing and Materials Standard.

Examples of Environmental Site Assessment in a sentence

  • For project sites for which the Developer has no reason to believe any environmental remediation or mitigation is required without undertaking a site investigation, such as but not limited to any greenfield or undeveloped land, the Developer shall provide an estimate of the cost to perform a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment on a per mile basis.

  • The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the City has not conducted or caused to be conducted an Environmental Site Assessment on the Lands.

More Definitions of Environmental Site Assessment

Environmental Site Assessment shall have the meaning specified in Exhibit VI.

Environmental Site Assessment. In respect of any Mortgaged Property, one or more reports regarding the environmental condition of such Mortgaged Property prepared in connection with the origination of the related Mortgage Loan or otherwise addressed to the Mortgage Loan Seller and its successors and assigns. Such reports include, but are not limited to, Phase I Environmental Reports and a review of a compilation of databases, made available by several regulatory agencies and conducted by a private service with respect to an area within a certain radius surrounding the related Mortgaged Property.
Environmental Site Assessment means an environmental engineering report (Phase I and, when necessary or appropriate in Lender's judgment, Phase II) for each Property prepared by an engineer engaged by Lender at Borrower's expense, and in a manner satisfactory to Lender, based upon an investigation relating to and making appropriate inquiries concerning the existence of Hazardous Materials on or about such Property, and the past or present discharge, disposal, release or escape of any such substances, all consistent with good customary and commercial practice.
