Environmental Framework definition

Environmental Framework means the environmental framework prepared by the Guarantor for the purposes of the Project and adopted by the Guarantor on April 2, 2009, describing: (i) the procedures, principles and guidelines to screen all Sub-projects proposed for financing under the Loan; and (ii) in case such screening shall reveal that a Sub-project may have any negative environmental impact, the procedures, principles and guidelines which shall be complied with in order to prepare an environmental assessment and to address the environmental impacts of such Sub-project through mitigation measures and/or an EMP, as appropriate.
Environmental Framework means the Environmental Framework adopted by DAR on November 7, 2002, and describing the rules, guidelines and procedures to assess environmental impacts of Sub-projects and defining measures to reduce, mitigate or offset adverse environmental impacts and enhance positive impacts of Sub-projects and referred to in paragraph A. 4 (a) (vi) of Schedule 5 to this Agreement, and the same as may be amended from time to time with the prior approval of the Bank;
Environmental Framework means the framework prepared by the Borrower, dated December 4, 2008, which sets out the environmental protection measures in respect of the Project.

  • With respect to mines proposed to be included under the Project, the Borrower shall, through MEC, ensure that all measures required under the Environmental Framework for Unidentified Mines are carried out, and shall prepare, and furnish to the Bank, the relevant environmental management plans for unidentified mines, describing the specific environmental mitigation, monitoring and institutional measures for the mines and ancillary facilities so identified, satisfactory to the Bank.

  • The Borrower shall and shall cause the Project Implementing Entity to implement the Project in accordance with the provisions of the PIP, the Environmental Framework and the Policy Framework for Land Acquisition and Resettlement, if applicable, all satisfactory to the Bank, and shall not amend, suspend or abrogate any of their provisions without the prior agreement of the Bank.


More Definitions of Environmental Framework

Environmental Framework means the Environmental Framework prepared by the Borrower and submitted to the Association on October 8, 2002, including any amendments made to such framework from time to time with the Association’s approval, setting forth, among other things, the procedures and mechanisms for carrying out Environmental Screening, Phase I Environmental Audits, Phase II Environmental Audits and environmental assessments, as well as procedures for developing and implementing Environmental Management Plans (as such terms are hereinafter defined);
Environmental Framework means the Environmental Framework, adopted by the ARMM Regional Government on February 9, 2010 approved by the Bank and publically disclosed on February 9, 2010 describing the rules, guidelines and procedures to assess environmental impacts of Sub-projects and defining measures to reduce, mitigate or offset adverse environmental impacts and enhance positive impacts of Sub-projects.
Environmental Framework means the Borrower’s framework for the management of environmental aspects of the Project dated April 25, 2005, as may be amended from time to time with the prior approval of the Association;
Environmental Framework or “EF” means the environmental framework prepared by the Borrower, and satisfactory to the Bank, updated and disclosed at the Bank’s Infoshop on January 26, 2011, which is an integral part of the Operational Manual, describing the rules, guidelines and procedures to assess environmental impacts and defining measures to reduce, mitigate or offset adverse environmental impacts associated with the implementation of activities under the Project, together with adequate institutional, monitoring and reporting arrangements capable of ensuring proper implementation of, and regular feedback on compliance with, its terms, as the same may be amended and supplemented from time to time with the Bank’s prior written approval.
Environmental Framework means the Environmental Assessment and Review Framework established for the Project;
Environmental Framework or “EF” means the environmental framework adopted by the Borrower on June 23, 2008, setting forth the procedures to be used by the Project Implementing Entity for the preparation and approval of a Sub-project (as hereinafter defined) specific Environmental Impact Assessment and/or Environmental Management Plan for any construction, rehabilitation or expansion of waste water services where there exists environmental issues of a type and scale sufficient to trigger the Bank’s policies thereon.
Environmental Framework means the environmental framework for implementation of the Project set forth in the Operational Manual;
