Entitlement Date definition

Entitlement Date has the meaning specified in Section 13.07(b).
Entitlement Date means the record date for determination of the holders of Common Stock entitled to receive securities, cash or other property in connection with a Non-Stock Fundamental Change or a Common Stock Fundamental Change or, if there is no such record date, the date upon which holders of Common Stock shall have the right to receive such securities, cash or other property.
Entitlement Date means the date as determined by the Board in its sole discretion in accordance with the Plan, provided, in the case of Participants who are liable to taxation under the provisions of the Income Tax Act (Canada) in respect of amounts payable under this Plan, that such date, or amendment of such date as contemplated by section 3.8 of this Plan, shall not be later than December 31 of the third calendar year following the calendar year in which the services were performed in respect of the corresponding Share Unit Award or such later date as may be permitted under paragraph (k) the definition ofsalary deferral arrangement” in subsection 248(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada) as amended from time to time, or other applicable provisions thereof, so as to ensure that the Plan is not considered to be a “salary deferral arrangement” for purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada);

Examples of Entitlement Date in a sentence

  • Such adjustment will be effective (if appropriate, retroactively) from the commencement of the next Market Day immediately following the Entitlement Date for such issue.

  • Any such adjustment will only be finalised on the Entitlement Date.

  • The payment of Principal Sum and Interest will be made in Sri Lanka Rupees in favour of the Debenture Holders as of the Entitlement Date.

More Definitions of Entitlement Date

Entitlement Date in relation to Section 13 means, a date specified by the Depositary Nominee as the date by reference to which the Depositary Nominee will identify the persons entitled to the benefit of a Corporate Action.
