Engineering Change definition
Engineering Change means any mechanical or electrical change to a Hardware Product which affects its form, fit, function, safety, reliability, performance or maintainability.
Engineering Change means a change in any of the following (as determined by Purchaser in its discretion, even if the Specifications are not changed) that could impact the regulatory status or the fit, form, or function of the material provided: Product formulation, raw materials (including source of supply), manufacturing methodology, or manufacturing location.
Engineering Change means any change to the process, materials, equipment, technology, location or any other items listed in FoundryCo’s standard specifications for which a change would affect the performance, function or reliability of the Wafers.

Engineering Change or “EC” means any change(s) to Product.
