End Office definition

End Office. The telephone company office from which the End User receives exchange service.
End Office means a local ALLTEL switching point where ALLTEL end user customer station loops are terminated for purposes of interconnection to each other and to the network. "End User" means, whether or not capitalized, any business, residential or governmental customer of services covered by the Agreement and includes the term "Customer". More specific meanings of either of such terms are dependent upon the context in which they appear in the Agreement and the provisions of the Act.

  • Where multi-frequency signaling is currently used, the Parties agree, below, to Interconnect their networks using multi-frequency (“MF”) or (“DTMF”) signaling, subject to availability at the End Office Switch or Tandem Switch at which Interconnection occurs.

End Office means a Switch that directly terminates traffic to and receives traffic from local exchange service customers. An End Office Switch does not include a PBX.
