Employee Couple definition

Employee Couple means two employees who are spouses or de facto partners of each other.

Employee Couple means a couple who are accessing the benefits of sub- clause 19.8 both of whom are NTPS Employees and have completed a minimum of 12 months continuous service.

Examples of Employee Couple in a sentence

  • In the case of an Employee Couple, the total period of parental leave for both parents combined, including any extensions, must not extend beyond 24 months.

  • Unpaid Parental Leave (other than a pregnant Employee) On the date of birth or day of placement of the child, or immediately following their Partner’s Parental Leave if an Employee Couple is sharing the entitlement.

  • This clause applies to an Eligible Employee who is a member of an Employee Couple.

  • Sections 72 and 74(5) of the Fair Work Act set out the circumstances in which employees who are part of an Employee Couple (as that term is defined in the Fair Work Act, including spouse or de facto couple whose conditions of employment are both governed by the Fair Work Act) can take unpaid parental leave.

  • Parental leave entitlements (namely maternity leave, paternity leave and adoption leave) are in accordance with the Act and apply to permanent and Eligible Casual Employees (including those who are part of an Employee Couple).
