Emission standard definition

Emission standard means specified limitations on the discharge of air contaminants into the atmosphere.
Emission standard means a regulation (or portion thereof) setting forth an allowable rate of emissions, level of opacity, or prescribing equipment or fuel specifications that result in control of air contaminant emissions.
Emission standard and "emission limitation" means a requirement established under the Federal Clean Air Act or chapter 70.94 RCW which limits the quantity, rate, or concentration of emissions of air contaminants on a continu- ous basis, including any requirement relating to the operation or maintenance of a source to assure continuous emission reduction and any design, equipment, work practice, or oper- ational standard adopted under the Federal Clean Air Act or chapter 70.94 RCW.

Examples of Emission standard in a sentence

  • Emission standard means a national standard, limitation, prohibition, or other regulation promulgated in a subpart of this part pursuant to sections 112(d), 112(h), or 112(f) of the Act.

  • The Site boundary noise is subject to Class II of Emission standard for industrial enterprises noise at boundary (2008), which requires the maximum 60 dB(A) during the daytime (6:00 AM – 10:00 PM) and 50 dB(A) at night (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).

  • And due to the workshops and factory buildings around the project site, it is estimated that the completion of the technological transformation project will have little impact on the surroundings, and the noise value at plant boundary will meet the standards of Class 3 required by the "Emission standard for industrial enterprises noise at boundary" (GB12348-2008) (daytime≤65dB (A), nighttime≤55dB (A)).

  • Noises at each construction site have met the requirement of relevant standards- Emission standard of environment noise for boundary of construction site (GB 12523-2011).

  • According to the data in Table VI-7, the daytime and nighttime noise level at all monitoring points met the requirement of the Noise Emission standard of environment noise for boundary of construction site GB12523-2011.

Emission standard or "emission limitation" means a requirement established by the state, a local government, or the administrator which limits the quantity, rate, or concentration of emissions of air pollutants on a continuous basis, including any requirements which limit the level of opacity, prescribe equipment, set fuel specifications, or prescribe operation or maintenance procedures for a source to assure continuous emission reduction.
Emission standard means any provision of 9VAC5-40 (Existing Stationary Sources), 9VAC5-50 (New and Modified Stationary Sources), or 9VAC5-60 (Hazardous Air Pollutant Sources) that prescribes an emissions limitation, or other requirements that control air pollution emissions.
Emission standard means a requirement established under the Federal Clean Air Act (FCAA) or chapter 70.94 RCW that limits the quantity, rate, or concentration of emissions of air contaminants on a continuous basis, including any requirement relating to the operation or maintenance of a source to assure continuous emission reduction and any design, equipment, work practice, or operational standard adopted under the FCAA or chapter 70.94 RCW.
Emission standard means that numerical limit that fixes the amount of an air contaminant or air contaminants that may be vented into the atmosphere from an affected facility or from air pollution control equipment installed in an affected facility.
