Eligible Securities definition

Eligible Securities means those securities which are identified as permissible securities for a particular Transaction Category.
Eligible Securities means the following obligations and any other obligations previously approved in writing by the Agent:

(e) "FICASH I Transaction" and "FICASH III Transaction " shall mean a repurchase transaction in which the Repurchase Date is the Banking Day next following the Sale Date and for which securities issued by the government of the United States of America that are direct obligations of the government of the United States of America shall constitute Eligible Securities. (f) "FICASH II Transaction" shall mean a repurchase transaction in which the Repurchase Date is the Banking Day next following the Sale Date and for which one or more of the following two categories of securities, as specified by the Funds, shall constitute Eligible Securities: (x) securities issued by the government of the United States of America that are direct obligations of the government of the United States of America, or (y) securities issued by or guaranteed as to principal and interest by the government of the United States of America, or by its agencies and/or instrumentalities, including, but not limited to, the Federal Home Loan Bank, Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp., Government National Mortgage Association, Federal National Mortgage Association, Federal Farm Credit Bank, Federal Intermediate Credit Bank, Banks for Cooperatives, and Federal Land Banks.

Examples of Eligible Securities in a sentence

  • Absent the Trustee’s timely receipt of instructions, the Trustee shall not be liable for failure to take any action relating to or to exercise any rights conferred by such Eligible Securities.

  • If the Trustee does not receive such written instructions prior to its specified deadlines, the Trustee shall not be liable for failure to take any action relating to or to exercise any rights conferred by such Eligible Securities.

  • The Trustee shall notify the Grantor of rights or discretionary actions with respect to Eligible Securities as promptly as practicable under the circumstances, provided that the Trustee has actually received notice of such right or discretionary corporate action from the relevant depository, etc.

  • Notwithstanding anything contained in this Agreement to the contrary, Grantor retains the right to direct the investment of the Trust Fund and the Trustee shall have no duty to review or recommend investments; provided, however, that Grantor shall only direct the Trustee to invest the Trust Fund in Eligible Securities in accordance with Grantor’s current cash-management policies.

  • If Grantor instructs the Trustee to invest in securities other than in Cash, Government Securities, Municipal Securities, Corporate Securities, Money Market Funds or Treasury Securities, such instruction shall be accompanied by the written consent of the Beneficiaries’ Representative as to the investment(s) in such Other Eligible Securities.
