The Commission is committed in engaging with the State Board of Education (BOE), the Hawaii Department of Education (DOE), charter schools, and other stakeholders in efforts, initiatives, and aspirations for Hawaiian education programs as reflected in Article X Section IV of the Hawaii State Constitution and BOE policies, including BOE policies E3 and 105-8.
A new ASF Member may purchase up to two (2) times annual salary in optional employee life coverage by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section E3 without evidence of insurability.
