DNA sample definition

DNA sample means any material that has come from a human body and consists of or includes human cells;
DNA sample means a forensic unknown tissue sample or a tissue sample provided by any person convicted of a designated crime or for whom the court has determined at arraignment there is probable cause that the person has committed a felony. The DNA sample may be blood or other tissue type specified by the department.
DNA sample means any human biological specimen that is obtained or retained for the purpose of extracting and analyzing DNA to perform a genetic test. “DNA sample” includes DNA extracted from the specimen.
