Distribution loss definition

Distribution loss means the energy losses in the distribution system of a distribution licensee including auxiliary power consumption in the sub-station for the purpose of air- conditioning, lightning, battery charging, accessories of sub-station equipments etc;
Distribution loss means the difference between the energy input (in units) and the energy sold (in units) as percentage of the total input energy (in units) measured through appropriate meter;
