Discount Charge definition

Discount Charge means the charge for Prepayments made by Santander.
Discount Charge. The charge for Prepayments (if any) made by Venture.
Discount Charge means the charge referred to in condition 5.3, calculated daily by applying the rate per annum specified in paragraph 8(a) (or such other sum as we may agree with you in writing), and subject to the minimum specified in paragraph 8(b), to the balance standing to the debit of the Client Account (and any accrued Discount Charges or other charges accrued but not yet applied to the Client Account) as at the close of business each day;

Examples of Discount Charge in a sentence

  • At no time shall the interest rate payable on, or Discount Charge or Acceptance Commission with respect to, the Credit Documents, together with the Facility Fee to the extent the same is construed to constitute interest, exceed the maximum rate of interest permitted by law.

  • If the Client and Venture agree verbally or in writing that instead of payment by cheque or BACS that Venture may make payments by the Clearing House Automated Payment System (sometimes known as "CHAPS") then the Purchase Price shall be adjusted by a Supplementary Discount Charge and Venture shall be entitled to a transaction charge, (the amount of which shall be advised by Venture from time to time) in respect of each payment.

  • If any payment of principal, interest, premium or other sum to be made under this Agreement becomes due and payable on a day other than a business day, the due date of payment shall be extended to the next succeeding business day and Discount Charge shall be determined accordingly in respect of such extension (unless that next succeeding business day falls in the following calendar month in which case the due date of payment shall be the immediately preceding business day).

  • If we make Advances in a currency other than Sterling, we may calculate the Discount Charge on Debit Balances by adding the margin to the Bank’s short term offer rate for the currency in question as determined by Us either daily or weekly.

  • The payment of the Discount Charge shall be made in the currency in which the relevant part of Capital is denominated by way of a cash payment made by the Company to the Agent for the account of the Receivables Purchaser, as contemplated by Clause 5.1 (Payment of Purchase Price) or, as the case may be, Clause 5.10 (Facility Adjustment Notices).
