Discom(s) definition

Discom(s) means one or more of the following distribution companies:

Discom(s) means the Buying Entity or the distribution utilities who have signed/will sign the PSA (s) with SECI for purchase of Power;

Discom(s) means Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (PSPCL).

Examples of Discom(s) in a sentence

• The amount of compensation shall be computed at the rate equal to the compensation payable by the Discoms towards non-meeting of RPOs, subject to a minimum of 25% of the applicable tariff.

• If for any Contract Year, it is found that the Seller has not been able to generate minimum energy of Million kWh (MU) [corresponding to a CUF of 12% for solar PV and 14% for solar Thermal], on account of reasons solely attributable to the Seller, the non-compliance by Seller shall make Seller liable to pay the compensation, to MPPMCL to remit the amount to Discoms.

• As stated above the declaration of availability scheduling and dispatch shall be coordinated and implemented between the SPD and the Discom(s), the two Grid connected entities.

• The MP TRADECO, in turn shall have back to back power supply agreement with the Discoms.

• The energy so procured shall be allocated by the MP TRADECO to the three Discoms on the basis of actual energy input in previous financial year.

More Definitions of Discom(s)

Discom(s) means the distribution utility or the distribution utilities who have signed the PSA (s) with SECI for purchase of Power;

Discom(s) means the distribution utility or the distribution utilities who have signed the PSA (s) with NTPC for purchase of Bundled Power;

Discom(s) means a distribution companies responsible for distribution of power;

Discom(s) or “Distribution Licensees” or “Buying Entity (ies)” or “Buying Utility(ies)” or “Procurer(s)” shall mean the Buying Entity or the distribution utilities who have signed/will sign the back to back PSA(s) with SECI for purchase of Power. It is clarified that all obligations of SECI under this Agreement shall be deemed to be the obligations of Buying Entities with which SECI has signed/will sign Power Sale Agreement.

Discom(s) means power Distribution Companies of Andhra Pradesh. In this RFP, DISCOMs shall refer to APSPDCL and APEPDCL individually and collectively unless otherwise specified.

Discom(s) means the local distribution utility providing electric distribution and interconnection services to Procurer at the Premises of Procurer;

Discom(s) means the distribution utility or the distribution utilities;
