Disciplinary record - must be no discipline during the preceding six (6) months.
The Administration shall take into consideration the following factors when evaluating an applicant for a vacant position, in no order of priority: • Needs of the District; • Work performance and/or evaluations; • Work experience/qualifications; • Disciplinary record; and • Seniority Every effort will be made to advance present employees to any vacant position that becomes available, giving them preference over applicants not currently employed by the District, when all other criteria are equal.
Disciplinary record will not be used for further disciplinary action where the written warning or suspension is at least one (1) year old.
In the selection of an employee to fill a vacancy, in addition to experience, training and education, the following factors may be considered: Qualifications, skill, ability and past performance; Efficiency; Disciplinary record; Attendance record; and Length of service.
