Disability Retirement Benefit definition

Disability Retirement Benefit means the benefit payable pursuant to Section 4.8.
Disability Retirement Benefit means the benefit payable to Director following a determination that he is no longer able, properly and satisfactorily, to perform his duties as Director. Said benefit shall be payable monthly for a fifteen (15) year period which, subject to the provisions of Subsection 4.4, shall begin not more than thirty (30) days following the above-mentioned disability determination.
Disability Retirement Benefit means the benefit as set forth in Section 3.4.

Examples of Disability Retirement Benefit in a sentence

  • Receiving a Disability Retirement Benefit under Section 3.4 hereof on January 1, 1992, and continuously thereafter.

  • Such disabled Participant shall, however, be entitled to Early or Normal Retirement benefit payments upon qualification by the Participant under the requirements set forth in Section 3.1 and Section 3.2. In no event, however, shall any Participant be entitled to receive both a Disability Retirement Benefit and an Early or Normal Retirement Benefit, it being intended that there should be no duplication of retirement benefits.

  • That he has been awarded a Total Disability Retirement Benefit under the Civil Service Retirement Act.

  • Failure or refusal of a Participant to submit to medical examination as requested by the Company shall be cause of cancellation of the Disability Retirement Benefit.

  • In the case of a claim for a Disability Retirement Benefit, the notice of an extension shall specifically explain the standards on which entitlement to a benefit is based, the unresolved issues that prevent a decision on the claim, and the additional information needed to resolve those issues, and the claimant shall be afforded at least 45 days within which to provide the specified information.


More Definitions of Disability Retirement Benefit

Disability Retirement Benefit means the benefit, if any, described in Section 5.5 or for certain Participants who became Participants as a result of certain acquisitions or mergers, the disability benefit described in the applicable Appendix.
Disability Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 6.2 of the Plan Document.

Disability Retirement Benefit. A Member’s annual amount of Disability Retirement Benefit shall be an amount commencing on his Disability Retirement Date computed in accordance with Section 5.01 of this Article based on the Member’s Average Compensation as of his Disability Retirement Date but based on the Member’s Credited Service as of his attainment of age 60 as if the Member were to continue to accrue Credited Service with the Employer. Such amount shall be reduced by three percent (3%) for each year that the Disability Retirement Date, or age 60, if later, precedes the first day of the month coincident with or next following the Member’s attainment of age sixty-five (65).
Disability Retirement Benefit means the benefit payable under Section 7.1 of the Plan.
Disability Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined in accordance with Section 7.6.
