Direct Debit Scheme definition

Direct Debit Scheme means a common set of rules, practices and standards agreed between payment service providers for the execution of direct debit transactions.
Direct Debit Scheme means a direct debit scheme under which we provide debtor bank services to you in your capacity as debtor, but does not include the SEPA Core Direct Debit Scheme or the SEPA B2B Direct Debit Scheme;
Direct Debit Scheme means a scheme where a member provides written authority for the payment of their annual subscription to the Union to be deducted, on such regular basis as the Executive determines, from the member’s bank account or similar debit account.

Failure: any act of default by the Payer in making any payment due directly to the Customer or indirectly to the Customer through L&Z or any third party, agent, or intermediary or failure by the Payer to adequately and timeously complete an Electronic Payer Application Form incorporating an instruction to its bank or building society to pay direct debits or the Payer becoming insolvent as prescribed by the Insolvency Act 1986 or compounding with its creditors or passing a resolution or having proceedings commenced against it for its administration or liquidation or the appointment of a receiver, manager, administrator or administrative receiver in respect of all or any part of the Payer’s assets or undertaking, or withdrawal of the Payer’s consent to the collection of direct debit transactions. Go-Live Date: the date the Services are first used by the Customer in a live environment in respect of products and services made available to Payers.
