Design Work definition

Design Work means that portion of the Work consisting of the design services required to be provided in connection with the design of the Project as set forth in the Contract Documents, and subcontracted by the Design/Builder to the Architect, which shall be performed consistent with the standards of professional care exercised by national design firms.
Design Work means all Work of design, engineering or architecture for the Project, Project Right of Way acquisition or Utility Adjustments.
Design Work means all Work related to the design, redesign, engineering or architecture for the Project.

  • Whenever DB Contractor performs design work or construction work as part of the Maintenance Services such work shall be governed by the requirements for Design Work and Construction Work (each as defined in the Design-Build Contract).

  • DB Contractor shall not commence or permit or suffer commencement of any Design Work or Construction Work in Segment 2 until DB Contractor obtains from its Sureties and provides to TxDOT written confirmation that the Performance Bond and Payment Bond amounts have been increased to equal the NTP2 Performance Bond Amount and the NTP2 Payment Bond Amount, respectively, in accordance with this Section 8.

  • Whenever Renewal Work is undertaken that requires Design Work or Construction Work as such terms are defined in the DBA, DB Contractor shall, unless otherwise approved by TxDOT, follow all the requirements of the DBA General Conditions in connection with quality management for such work unless the DBA General Conditions are superseded by TxDOT-published changes to manuals, specifications and guidelines pertaining to the Maintenance Services.

  • Throughout the course of the Design Work and Construction Work, Developer shall perform or cause to be performed all environmental mitigation measures required under the Environmental Approvals, including the NEPA Approval and any other Governmental Approvals for the Facility, or under the CDA Documents, and shall comply with all other conditions and requirements of the Environmental Approvals in accordance with Section 4 of the Technical Provisions.


More Definitions of Design Work

Design Work means the design, administration, procurement, materials, equipment, and all services necessary for Design Professional, and/or its agents, to fulfill Design Professional’s obligations under this Agreement.
Design Work means that portion of the Work as further set forth in the Specifications that encompasses all of the design services to be provided by the Contractor under this Contract.
Design Work means a piece of design work, including but not limited to graphic designs, pictures, copy, text, images and logos, created as a result of the Services and provided as part of the Deliverables as more particularly described in the Statement of Work.
Design Work means all labor, equipment, materials and goods necessary to complete the Scope of Design Work set forth on Exhibit A to this Agreement.
Design Work means the design work to be carried out by the Contractor in designing the Works, including the completion of any of the Initial Design Documents and (if applicable) the development of the Preliminary Design.
Design Work means engineering and architectural design services provided with respect to any portion of the Facility which are by the terms of the Contract required to be undertaken in compliance with the Design Requirements.
Design Work means all Work related to the design, redesign, engineering, or architecture for the Section carried out prior to Final Completion.
