demerit point definition
demerit point means a demerit point assessed against a person under the Automobile Insurance Certificates and Rates Regulation, Manitoba Regulation 44/2009, as that regulation read on December 31, 2009, or a demerit point assessed against a driver by the registrar on the basis of an accident in which the driver was involved and for which the registrar, in his or her discretion, considers the driver was wholly or partly responsible.
