Demand Charges definition

Demand Charges means all charges for the purchase of gas or the transportation or storage of gas which are not billed on the volume of gas actually purchased or transported by the Company.
Demand Charges means charges that are based on the maximum demand (in kW or kVA) recorded by your meter in a given period. Energy Charges is defined in clause 5(a)(1). Evergy is defined in clause 2(a).
Demand Charges for a billing period shall mean the amount chargeable based upon the recorded maximum demand in kVA or the contract demand; whichever is higher and shall be calculated as per the procedure laid down in the Tariff Order;

  • The Demand Charges and Firm Commodity Benchmark charges shall be calculated as set forth below.

  • Differences between firm cost of gas revenues actually billed and firm cost of gas expenses actually incurred for each month, as defined below, will be calculated monthly, for both Demand Charges and Firm Commodity Benchmark charges, and accumulated.

More Definitions of Demand Charges

Demand Charges means the amount, if any, to be paid by Buyer to Seller for capacity as agreed to by the Parties in a Transaction.
