Deemed Contract definition

Deemed Contract means a contract which is deemed to have automatically been formed when we supply gas or electricity to your property where you have not actively agreed to a new supply of gas and/or electricity from us;

More Definitions of Deemed Contract

Deemed Contract means a contract for the supply of electricity or Natural Gas under Section 16A of the Energy (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1995.
Deemed Contract means a contract to supply gas or electricity (or both), under these terms. These terms only apply if you are a domestic customer, micro business, or a small or medium enterprise (SME) customer, and using our electricity or gas services (or both) at your premises, without entering into a formal agreement with us for those services.
Deemed Contract means a contract for the supply of Gas where Crown Gas & Power has never entered into a written contract with the Consumer and Gas is still being supplied to the Site and/or services are still being provided and as more particularly defined in paragraph 8(1) of Schedule 2B of the Act.

The ESBN meter is the Meter of Record for the supply of electricity; Energy – means electricity or natural gas (or both), as agreed for the purposes of the Contract. EURIBOR – means the Euro Interbank Offered Rate being offered and is used to benchmark the rate of interest referenced in this Contract. Gas Connection Agreement – shall have the meaning set out in Clause 18.1; Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) – means the licensed operator of the distribution system through which gas is supplied to you; GNI Meter – means the GNI Meter of Record for the supply of gas, which may be a Credit Meter or a PAYG Meter and can be registered to any other Supplier; GPRO – Gas Point Registration Operator; GPRN – means Gas Point Reference Number, the unique 8 digit number assigned to all Gas Connections and Meters. Handbook – means the Commission for Regulation of Utilities Electricity and Gas Suppliers Handbook 2019 (as may be amended from time to time); Initial Period – means the initial term of this Contract, being such term as shall be agreed by telephone between you and us and starts on the Commencement Date. Initial Period Termination Fee – has the meaning given to that term in Clause 11.9(e)
Deemed Contract means, as between the Licensee and a consumer, a contract for the supply of gas to have been made under section 12 of the Energy Act (Northern Ireland) 2011;
Deemed Contract means a legally enforceable agreement considered to have been made between the Electric Ireland and the owner or occupier of the premises. A deemed contract is considered to have come into existence because the owner or occupier (after receiving notice from Electric Ireland and where the premises continue to be supplied with gas or electricity by Us) did not inform Us that he or she continued to use the electricity or gas supplied to the premises concerned after the previous contract for supply to the premises concerned had expired, or was not cancelled when a previous owner or occupied vacated the premises or the new owner or occupied did not enter into a new contract of supply.
