In order to be reimbursed for such educational expenses, the DCA shall submit a request for approval to attend the event, along with a list of the likely expenses associated with the event, such as mileage, air fare, hotel, meals, rental car and taxi expenses.
The City Attorney may require the DCA to submit satisfactory evidence of attendance at the event, and receipts for all actual expenses incurred, in order to receive reimbursement.
In addition, the City Attorney will pay the reasonable expenses for a DCA to attend professional, job-related conferences that are pre-approved by management.
