Data Security Standards definition

Data Security Standards means the data security standards issued by the applicable Card Brand, PCI and/or Moneris, including Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI DSS”), Payment Application Data Security Standard (“PA DSS”) and PIN Transaction Security Standard (PTS), which are made available at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx, or as we may advise you of in writing from time to time, as each data security standard may be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified by the Card Brand, PCI or us from time to time.
Data Security Standards has the meaning given in Section 7.1.
Data Security Standards means the data security standards mandated by the Card Schemes for the protection of the Cardholder details and Transaction information (including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) and the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), issued by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, as amended from time to time), and any additional standards of which Global advises Billzy from time to time.

Examples of Data Security Standards in a sentence

  • If yes, submit a QSA-signed Attestation of Compliance to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI-DSS”).

  • If yes, submit a QSA-signed Attestation of Compliance to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI- DSS”).

  • The review must validate compliance with the current PCI Data Security Standards for protecting cardholder data.

  • Contractors that process, transmit or store credit/debit cardholder data, must adhere to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards.

  • These steps shall include, at a minimum, complying with all of the data system security precautions listed in the Contractor Data Security Standards set forth in Attachment 1 to this Exhibit.


More Definitions of Data Security Standards

Data Security Standards means the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council, LLC or any successor organization or entity.
Data Security Standards means the highest industry standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards and controls consistent with NIST Special Publication 800-53 and Federal Information Processing Standards 200 and including, but not limited to, those promulgated under HIPAA and HITECH, as well as the specific provisions specified in Exhibit F [Security Policies], and such other applicable SOV policies as may be implemented during the Term of the MSA, including policies, procedures and practices agreed upon between SOV and Supplier.
Data Security Standards means all data security requirements, including, but not limited to, PCI-DSS; the Visa Cardholder Information Security program, the Mastercard Site Data Protection Program, the Discover Network Information Security and Compliance program, the American Express Data Security Requirements (SDR), Sponsor Bank(s) data security requirements, and other programs or requirements that may be published, amended, and or mandated by the Payment Networks and a Sponsor Bank.
Data Security Standards or “DSS” means Humly’s data security standard as applied from time to time, as further detailed in Clause 9.
Data Security Standards means the physical, technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards stated in Section 2 of this document to protect the security of the System or protect Confidential Information.
Data Security Standards means the data security standards mandated by the Card Schemes for the protection of cardholder details and transaction information (including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (‘PCI-DSS’ and the Payment Application Data Security Standard ('PA-DSS')), issued by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, as amended from time to time), and any additional standards of which Macquarie or the Provider advises from time to time. PCI-DSS provides a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security and forms industry best practice for any entity that stores, processes and/or transmits cardholder data. PCI-DSS requirements apply to all merchants that store, process or transmit cardholder data, and apply to all system components included in, or connected to, the cardholder data environment. PCI-DSS sets forth 12 high-level standards to ensure that payment businesses maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive account and transaction data. The standards cover the entire transaction cycle, focusing on key areas such as access control, authentication, firewalls, virus protection, patch management, data disposal, encryption and physical security.
Data Security Standards or “DSS” means Humly’s data security standard as applied from time to time.
