Data Owner means the agency manager or supervisor, designated by the state forester, who defines, manages and controls the use of data and ensures compliance with adopted standards.

Data Owner means the Party having ownership of the data and, as a result, the authority to direct the purposes for which any item of data is processed or used, and the term “Service Provider” shall mean the Party providing services to the Data Owner, including the processing of the data on behalf and upon instruction of the Data Owner.
