dangerous object means any explosives or incendiary material, any explosive or incendiary device, any fire-arm, any gas, material, weapon or other article, object or instrument which may be employed to cause bodily harm to a person, or to render a person temporarily paralyzed or unconscious, or to cause damage to property, as well as anything the Minister may by notice in the Government Gazette declared to be a dangerous object for the purpose of the Control to Public Premises and Vehicles Act no. 53 of 1985.

Explosives and munitions emergency responses can occur on either public or private lands and are not limited to responses at RCRA facilities.
