Custody Securities definition

Custody Securities means Clients’ securities held in custody by Safecap with sub-custodians or through External Custody Providers or other approved parties, such as shares and similar instruments that are not traded on margin;

Custody Securities means Assets which are received and held by the Bank or its Service Providers for you or your account in accordance with the terms and conditions in Part E Terms and Conditions Relating to Custodial Services.

Custody Securities means Securities, and any other type of assets, of which the Customer is the legal or beneficial owner that the Bank agrees to hold (or to have held by an Agent) on the Customer’s behalf;

Examples of Custody Securities in a sentence

• Dealing with Securities 5.1 On receipt of a written request from you or your Adviser, we will, subject to any Security Interest it may have, arrange the transfer of any Custody Securities held on your behalf to you or to any other person.

• Where the Custodian provides Custody Services to you, instructions that your Authorised Person gives to your Adviser are deemed to authorise your Adviser to deal with your Custody Account and Custody Securities on your behalf, but only to the extent of those instructions.

• We may, at our absolute discretion: 6.1.1 refuse instructions where we are not holding the necessary cleared funds to enable the settlement of any dealing at the time instructions are given; or 6.1.2 sell Custody Securities and apply the proceeds to fund any shortfall at settlement of any trading you undertake (including, on the instruction of your Adviser).

• Unless (and to any extent) that you will continue to receive Custody Services from the Custodian, you will have 10 Business Days from the issue of such notice to instruct us in writing to either transfer any of your investments and Custody Securities to an account nominated by you or liquidate all of your holdings, investments and Custody Securities as soon as reasonably practicable (and any written agreement will cover such instruction).

Custody Securities means securities of every type and description, whether unlisted or listed (including without limitation Book-Entry Securities), which are now or may at any time be in the possession of or holding or to the order of or deposited or lodged with or transferred to UOBKH or its nominees, agents, representatives or correspondents in the name of or for the account of or at the request of the Client for safe custody including but not limited to stocks, shares, bonds, commercial paper, debentures, notes, mutual funds, unit trusts and other securities, precious metals, mortgages and other obligations, investments and any documents of title thereto and any certificates, receipts, warrants, puts, calls, and other instruments evidencing ownership thereof or representing rights to receive, purchase and subscribe for the same, or evidencing or representing any other rights and interests therein or in any property or assets and shall further include all securities deposited with or transferred into the central depository accounts of the Client or UOBKH or its nominees, agents, representatives or correspondents or otherwise and all the proceeds of any payment which may at any time be received or receivable by the Client in connection with such securities and all interest, dividends, bonus issues, offers by way of rights, benefits and entitlements owing from them or to them and shall also include the cash proceeds from the sale or purchase of the Custody Securities;

Custody Securities means Securities the Custodian (or any sub-custodian the Custodian appoints) holds;

Custody Securities means Clients' se- curities held in custody by Saxo Bank directly with a central securities depository or through External Custody Providers, including shares, bonds, units in collective investment undertak- ings and similar instruments that are not traded on margin;

Custody Securities means securities of every type and description, whether unlisted or listed (including without limitation CDPSecuritiesand Investments), which are nowor may at any time be in the possession of or holding or to the order of or deposited or lodged with or transferred to DBS Xxxxxxx or its nominees, agents, representatives or correspondents in the name of or for the account of or at the request of the Customer fo r safe custody including but not limited to stocks, shares, bonds, commercial paper, debentures, notes, mutual funds, unit trusts and other securities, precious metals, mortgages and other obligations, investments and any documents of title thereto and any certificates, receipts, warrants, puts, calls, and other instruments evidencing ownership thereofor representing rights to receive, purchase and subscribe for the same, or evidencing or representing any other rights and interests therein or in any property or assets and shall further include all securit i e s deposited with or transferred into the central depository accounts of the Customer or DBSVickers or its nominees, agents, representatives or correspondents or otherwise and all the proceeds of any payment which may at any time be received or receivable by the Customer in connection with such securities and all interest, dividends, bonus issues, offers by way of rights, benefits and entitlements owing from them or to them and shall also include the cash proceeds from the sale or purchase of the Custody Securities.

Custody Securities means Securities which are received and held by BOC or Service Provider for you or your Account in accordance with the terms and conditions in Part E;
