Standards for ethical conduct are established and enforced by the University, the University of Texas System, the CUSA Conference, and the NCAA.
As a bonus, to supplement Head Coach’s compensation, as set out herein, the University agrees to pay the following sums upon attainment of each specified goal, provided the Program is in compliance with all Governing Athletics Rules and University Rules, and there are no pending or active NCAA or CUSA investigations or major violations of which Head Coach knew or should have known.
As a performance incentive and subject to all other terms and conditions established in section 6.D of this Agreement, if during the Initial Term of this Agreement Head Coach attains a CUSA, or any other athletic conference of which the University may be a member, championship (regular season or tournament) the Initial Term shall be extended for an additional one (1) Contract Year, automatically and without further action by either party, and end on August 31, 2029 (“Additional Term”).
