Current Sick Leave means those days of sick leave for the current contract year, which leave is granted at the rate of one day of sick leave per month worked, or major part thereof.

More Definitions of Current Sick Leave
Current Sick Leave means those days of sick leave for the current contract year. All contracted full-time licensed personnel of the Malvern School District shall be entitled to eleven (11) days of regular sick leave each year at full pay. Employees working more than nine (9) months shall receive one (1) additional day of sick leave for each additional month of service not to exceed thirteen (13) days. For the purposes of this policy, a day is defined as the number of hours for which an employee is contracted each day. Such leave shall be in force beginning with the first day for which each employee is employed. Provided, if an employee resigns or leaves his/her position for any reason before the end of the contracted period, the district will deduct from his/her last check full compensation for any days of sick leave used in excess of the number of days earned. Up to four leave days may be used for personal business of the employee when such leave is approved in advance by the principal or supervisor.
