CTG definition

CTG means control technique guideline. A CTG is a USEPA guidance document that triggers a responsibility under Section 182(b)(2) of the Clean Air Act for states to submit reasonably available control technology (RACT) rules for stationary sources of VOC emissions as part of their state implementation plans. Each CTG contains a presumptive norm for RACT for a specific category, based on USEPA's evaluation of that category. The following rules promulgated by the Ohio EPA cover categories for which USEPA has issued a CTG:

CTG means a Control Technique Guideline published by the Administrator under Section 108 of the Clean Air Act.
