Coxswain definition

Coxswain means any Competitor in a Crew who is not a Rower and who, apart from operating a bona fide steering mechanism, does not participate in the physical propulsion of the boat.
Coxswain means the person having for the time being the charge or command of the vessel; but where there is no such person or the vessel is in the charge or command of a person under the age of 16, it means the person whose name appears in the vessel’s Certificate of Ownership;
Coxswain means the person who for the time being, is exercising the actual control of any vessel navigating in harbour waters;
