Cover definition
Cover. “Covered” or “Covering” means, with respect to a patent, that, but for rights granted to a Person under such patent, the act of making, using or selling by such Person would infringe a Valid Claim included in such patent, or in the case of a patent that is a patent application, would infringe a Valid Claim in such patent application if it were to issue as a patent.
Cover means a defined group of benefits payable under a policy for approved expenses incurred by the insured person.
Cover. “Covering” or “Covers” means, as to a product and Patent, that, in the absence of a license granted under, or ownership of, such Patent, the making, using, keeping, selling, offering for sale or importation of such product would infringe such Patent or, as to a pending claim included in such Patent, the making, using, selling, offering for sale or importation of such product would infringe such Patent if such pending claim were to issue in an issued patent without modification.

Cover means, with respect to a Patent and a Product, that the manufacture, use, offer for sale, sale or import of a Product, absent a license to such Patent or Product, would infringe a Valid Claim in such Patent; provided, however, that in determining whether a claim of a pending Patent application would be infringed, it is treated as if issued in the form then currently being prosecuted. “Covered” and “Covering” have the correlative meanings.
