Coroner definition

Coroner s case" means a case involving a death which was not anticipated and which may involve any of the following conditions:
Coroner s office" means all personnel appointed and elected to the office of coroner, including the county coroner, deputies and assistants;
Coroner means the person elected or appointed in a county

Examples of Coroner in a sentence

  • If the remains are determined to be Native American, the Coroner must contact the Native American Heritage Commission within 24 hours.

  • If the County Coroner determines that the remains are Native American, the City shall contact the California Native American Heritage Commission (NAHC), pursuant to subdivision (c) of Section 7050.5 of the Health and Safety Code, and all excavation and site preparation activities shall cease within a 50-foot radius of the find until appropriate arrangements are made.
