Controllable definition

Controllable means a delay, cancellation or diversion which is considered to be within the control of the Carrier.

Controllable means within the reasonable control of Landlord and not determined by a third party. For example, utility rates, insurance premiums, mandated minimum wages and tax rates or assessments are not controllable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the following items shall be excluded from the definition of Operating Costs:

Controllable means, when used in reference to an irregular operation including Flight delays, cancellations or diversions, a factor considered to be within the Carrier’s control.

Examples of Controllable in a sentence

• A Transmission Interconnection Customer interconnecting Merchant D.C. Transmission Facilities and/ or Controllable A.C. Merchant Transmission Facilities shall design its Customer Facility to maintain a power factor at the Point of Interconnection of at least 0.95 leading and 0.95 lagging, when the Customer Facility is operating at any level within its approved operating range.

• Capacity Transmission Injection Rights may be awarded only to a Merchant D.C. Transmission Facility and/or Controllable A.C. Merchant Transmission Facilities that connects the Transmission System to another control area.

• Transmission Facilities: Merchant Transmission Facilities that are alternating current (A.C.) transmission facilities, other than those that are Controllable A.C. Merchant Transmission Facilities.

• Controllable Behind-the-Meter Generation means generation whose output can be controlled located at the same facility as a DARD or a Demand Response Asset, excluding: (1) generators whose output is separately metered and reported and (2) generators that cannot operate electrically synchronized to, and that are operated only when the facility loses its supply of power from, the New England Transmission System, or when undergoing related testing.

• Load Resources providing RRS must be either a Controllable Load Resource qualified for Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch (SCED) and capable of providing Primary Frequency Response or a Load Resource controlled by high-set under-frequency relays for automatic interruption.

More Definitions of Controllable

Controllable means factors other than those that are beyond RAI’s direct control, including, without limitation, weather, natural disasters, air traffic control, ground stops, taxi and parking delays, lightening strikes or bird strikes, delays caused by or requested by Frontier personnel, including aircraft ground damage.
