Contingency Event definition

Contingency Event means an event or circumstance that MDL believes, acting as a Reasonable and Prudent Operator, has detrimentally affected Transmission Services or depleted Line Pack to an unacceptable level, or could do so, and includes an Emergency.
Contingency Event means that the Issuer or CSG has given a Contingency Event Notice. No such Contingency Event Notice shall be given, and no Contingency Event Conversion shall therefore occur, if, notwithstanding the CET1 Ratio being below the Threshold Ratio as contemplated pursuant to the definition of Contingency Event Notice, the Regulator, at the request of CSG, has agreed on or prior to the publication of the relevant Quarterly Financial Report that a Contingency Event Conversion shall not occur because it is satisfied that actions, circumstances or events have had, or imminently will have, the effect of restoring the CET1 Ratio to a level above the Threshold Ratio that the Regulator and CSG deem, in their absolute discretion, to be adequate at such time.
Contingency Event means any event that disrupts or has the potential to disrupt the normal exchange and settlement of transactions in KEPSS. Five main potential types of Contingency Event are envisaged:

  • The parties shall take all necessary steps to give effect to the ESFA Contingencies in the event of an ESFA Contingency Event occurring.

  • Any assignment pursuant to this Section 11 remains subject to the occurrence of the Contingency Event.

  • In the relevant Contingency Event Notice, the Issuer shall notify whether it will appoint such Settlement Shares Offer Agent to conduct such a Settlement Shares Offer.

  • Any such Settlement Shares Offer shall be completed no later than 20 Business Days after the occurrence of the Contingency Event (the “Offer Settlement Period”).

  • Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Condition 8, the Issuer may not give a notice of redemption of the Tier 1 BCNs pursuant to this Condition 8 if a Contingency Event or, as the case may be, a Viability Event shall have occurred.

Contingency Event. – means the loss of one or more system elements under any operating condition or anticipated mode of operation;
Contingency Event means that in two consecutive calendar quarters, the Joint and Several Obligor does not comply (i) with the Maximum Indebtedness Level and/or (ii) subsequent to the Grace Period, with the Required EBITDA.
Contingency Event has the meaning set forth in Section 3.04(c)(i).
