Contaminated Material definition

Contaminated Material means wastes or other materials exposed to or tainted by chemical, radiological, or biological substances or agents.
Contaminated Material means all material collected by the recycling vehicles that is not considered Recyclable Material as defined in this contract. Contaminated Materials including but not limited to: garbage, food waste, food tainted items, pizza boxes, egg cartons, wax- coated cartons, ice-cream cartons, aluminum foil, Styrofoam cups and plates, aerosol cans, propane tanks, and helium tanks.
Contaminated Material means any natural or man-made material that contains small amounts of Hazardous Substance(s) in a concentration less than that which would trigger HART’s handling, transport, and disposal of Hazardous Material or Hazardous Waste. This also includes any regulated material, such as petroleum-contaminated soil, that upon exposure may pose an existing or potential threat to human health or the environment.

More Definitions of Contaminated Material

Contaminated Material means items that may contaminate the Wood Waste to be transferred for reprocessing and result in a reduction in the amount of Wood Waste that can be recovered for transfer to the Facility. Contaminated Material will require disposal to a suitably authorised waste management facility for treatment or end disposal. For the purposes of this Specification householders are advised that Wood Waste is as defined in this Specification. Contaminated material shall also include Prohibited Material which is defined in this Specification;
