The General Conditions of Contract are the FIDIC Short Form of Contract, First Edition, 1999, published by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC).
The Contractor shall agree to cooperate with the Owner’s other Contractors and Consulting Engineers and freely exchange with them such technical information as is necessary to obtain the most efficient and economical design and to avoid unnecessary duplication of efforts.
The Issuer may from time to time sell or lease such other property forming part of a Project which it may determine is not needed or serves no useful purpose in connection with the maintenance and operation of such Project, if the Consulting Engineers shall in writing approve such sale or lease; the proceeds of any such sale or lease shall be disposed of as hereinabove provided for the proceeds of the sale or disposal of movable property.
The Engineer shall be provided with three copies of all correspondence addressed by the Contractor to other Contractors and Consulting Engineers of the Owner in respect of such exchange of technical information, wherever needed.
