Compositions definition

Compositions means those musical compositions the titles of which are set forth on Schedule A, if any.
Compositions means any single musical composition, irrespective of length, including all spoken words and bridging passages and a medley.
Compositions means the musical composition(s) listed on Schedule “A” attached hereto which has/have been written by Composer, including all existing and future arrangements and adaptations of such composition(s).

Examples of Compositions in a sentence

  • The rights granted pursuant to Paragraph 1 exclude the right to publicly perform the Compositions during political campaign events and/or events organized by political organizations.

  • The rights granted pursuant to Paragraph 1, above, shall exclude “Grand Rights” in and to the Compositions (“Grand Rights” include, but are not limited to, the right to perform, in whole or in part, dramatico-musical and dramatic works in a dramatic setting).

More Definitions of Compositions

Compositions means the compositions embodied on the “Masters” as well as the copyrights in and to the Compositions.
Compositions means and include individually and collectively those music compositions (the titles of which are) set forth on Schedule A attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, and any and all versions and derivative works of such compositions. For the avoidance of doubt, such derivative works include, but are not limited to, foreign language translations, samples, interpolations, and remixes of the music compositions set forth on Schedule A.
Compositions means musical compositions in which Seller owns and controls certain rights, title and interests.

Compositions means all right, title and interest in all musical compositions owned in whole or in part by any Acquired Company (including, without limitation, for the avoidance of doubt, Squint Music Publishing) or in which any Acquired Company owns an interest, including, without limitation, derivative works thereof, copyrighted arrangements, titles, lyrics and music thereof, all demonstration recordings thereof created by any Acquired Company and all other rights therein and thereto, whether now or hereafter known, and all claims and demands accrued or to accrue with respect thereto, and the copyrights and the future contingent renewal and extended terms of copyrights therein and thereto, and all rights to secure renewals and extensions of copyright, throughout the world, including, without limitation, those musical compositions contained on the list attached hereto as Schedule 4.18(a)(vii).
