Commingled Recyclables definition

Commingled Recyclables means a mixture of several recyclable materials into one container.
Commingled Recyclables means source-separated, commingled, and/or pre-sorted materials delivered to the Designated Facility consisting of ferrous metal cans, aluminum containers, glass, and plastic, which shall include HDPE, PET-ridged household containers, and plastics 1 through 7.
Commingled Recyclables means source separated, commingled and/or pre- sorted materials delivered (directly or indirectly via a transfer station) to a facility, or facilities for processing into marketable fractions. Commingled Recyclables shall consist of ferrous metal, aluminum, glass and rigid plastic food and beverage containers as described in Exhibit B. Commingled recyclables may include other materials that the TOWNSHIP and CONTRACTOR, by mutual agreement, may designate from time to time.

Commingled Recyclables means newspapers, corrugated cardboard, brown paper bags, tin/aluminum cans, aseptic containers, aerosol cans, plastics defined as tubs/bottles, and mixed paper consisting of household mail, paperboard, and magazines, or any other combination of Recyclable Materials approved by the City in accordance with state regulations. Effective July 1, 2025, Commingled Recycling is defined by the Plastics Pollution and Modernization Act, Oregon DEQ.

Each of these material streams will be separated at the Material Recovery Facility for marketing to manufacturers. A combination of sorting processes separates the different materials by size, weight, air, magnetic properties, non- magnetic properties, optical sorting and manual sorting. The materials are then marketed to separate manufacturers for further processing and recycling.
Commingled Recyclables means recyclables that have been abandoned or discarded and that are mixed with solid waste other than residual solid waste.
