Commercial Zone definition

Commercial Zone means the area where the commercial buildings are located as shown in the Master Plan.
Commercial Zone means any zone within an acknowledged urban growth boundary or an acknowledged commercial exception area that allows sales or service or commercial and professional offices as uses permitted outright.
Commercial Zone means areas zoned for commercial use including, but not limited to, Central Business District (CBD), Commercial (C1), Commercial Recreation (CR), Industrial / Business Park (I/BP) and Mixed Use (MU).

Examples of Commercial Zone in a sentence

  • No open storage area shall be visible from any street or from any adjacent lot, where such adjacent lot is located in a zone other than a Commercial Zone or an Industrial Zone, and to this end any open storage area shall be screened, wherever necessary in order to comply with this provision, by a planting strip containing an opaque fence, wall or other opaque barrier not less than 2.0 metres (6.6 ft.) in height.

  • The General Plan designation is Central Business District and the Zoning is CBD-C Central Business District General Commercial Zone.
